Suitable from birth, one side of the mattress is firm to aid in muscle development and bone growth. It features an inner core made of coconut coir bonded with natural latex, offering a resilient, durable, and breathable sleeping surface. Topped with luxurious lambswool, this side regulates body temperature and moisture while being naturally hypoallergenic. As your child grows, flip the mattress to the side with individual pocket springs encased in high-grade, dent-resistant nursery foam, providing enhanced support for your child's back, neck, and head.

The reversible cover offers versatile functionality. One side features a Tencel fabric top panel, which is extremely breathable and moves perspiration away from the body, keeping your child cool and comfortable. This top panel is easily removable without taking the mattress out of the cot, revealing a second sleeping surface made of soft, breathable, waterproof polyurethane. The other side of the cover is made of durable, breathable knitted polyester with splash-resistant properties. The entire cover is antibacterial, antifungal, anti-dust mite, and fully removable and washable at 60ºC, ensuring a fresh and clean sleeping environment. Additionally, the mattress includes a removable, water-resistant inner cover that can serve as a third sleeping surface while the outer cover is being washed.

Obaby mattresses are designed and manufactured to comply with the General Product Safety Regulations 2005 and UK Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations of 1988/1989, 1993, and 2010. They are also tested to meet BS 7177:2008+A1:2011 and BS EN16890:2017 standards for crib, cot, and cot bed mattresses.
